Taiwanese President Survives Shooting

On the eve of national elections, Taiwanese President Chen Shui-bian and Vice President Annette Lu are shot and wounded while campaigning for re-election in a motorcade. Both have been released from the hospital. It's not known who carried out the attack and what influence it will have on the election's outcome. Hear NPR's Rob Gifford.
