The writers' strike knocked late-night television shows like the Late Show and The Tonight Show into reruns. Now these pillars of the talk-show genre are back on the air with fresh material. Critic David Bianculli casts his eye on the efforts of David Letterman, Jay Leno and their lesser-known competitors to jump back in the saddle.
