European regulators impose a record $613 million fine on Microsoft, calling the company an abusive monopoly. EU officials order Microsoft to take steps to stop crushing rivals, including selling a version of Windows without the Microsoft Media Player. Microsoft denies it has abused its dominant position in the market and says it will appeal. Hear NPR's Nick Spicer.
