Roger Clemens is fighting back hard, trying to salvage a reputation that was badly damaged when he was linked to performance enhancing drugs in the Mitchell report on doping in baseball.

Clemens appeared on 60 Minutes Sunday, denying that he had ever used steroids, and he had a dramatic news conference Monday in Houston, where reporters heard a recording of a telephone conversation between Clemens and his personal trainer Brian McNamee.
