Ray Farkas, a pioneering radio and TV producer, died over the weekend after a long battle with Parkinson's disease and colon cancer. He had an eclectic and influential career, first for NBC's Huntley Brinkley Report and later making documentaries.

He teamed up on one project with Alex Chadwick, who has this remembrance of his friend.
