Taiwanese Opposition Makes New Recount Bid

Taiwan's opposition party will file a petition with the country's high court calling for a recount in the disputed March 20 presidential election, which incumbent President Chen Shui-bian won by a narrow margin. The opposition also demands a formal inquiry into the mysterious shooting of Chen and his running mate on the eve of the election. Hear NPR's Rob Gifford.
