Sgt. Ivory Phipps was killed in Iraq on March 17 in an attack on an Army logistics base in Baghdad. Phipps leaves a wife and a young baby. He re-enlisted in the Illinois National Guard in the hope of finishing a 20-year commitment to the Guard. Jay Field of Chicago Public Radio talked with members of Phipps' family.
