NPR's Wade Goodwyn reports on President Bush's work in Alabama in 1972 on the Senate bid by Republican Winton (Red) Blount. While there are many questions about Mr. Bush's Air National Guard duties during this time, there are also differing views of his devotion to the political work that brought him to the state.
