March Jobs Report Shows Strong Growth

The Labor Department reports U.S. companies in a wide array of industries added 308,000 jobs in March — the fastest pace of growth in four years. U.S. officials also revised upward job growth numbers from January and February. The U.S. unemployment rate, measured by a different survey, remained essentially unchanged at 5.7 percent.
