Slate's Ballot Box: Rights of the 'Unborn' Child
NPR's Alex Chadwick talks with Slate chief political correspondent Will Saletan about the Unborn Victims of Violence Act, signed Thursday by President Bush. The new legislation makes it a separate crime to harm an "unborn child" during the commission of a federal crime against a pregnant woman.
