Three Encores

Audio for this story from Performance Today is not available.

We open this hour of music with three encores from concerts around the country, starting with a piece called "Todo sentimento," by Chico Buarque. Violinist Nadja Salerno-Sonnenberg is in concert at the Aspen Music Festival, with guitarists, the Assad Brothers. Then we move along to a clarinet and bassoon arrangement of the "Minute Waltz," by Chopin. We wrap up our collection of encores with Claude Debussy's "Beau Soir," played by the Zapolski Quartet and pianist Volodymyr Vynnytsky.
