Hamas leader Abdel Aziz Rantisi is killed — along with his son and a bodyguard — by missles fired from an Israeli helicopter. He assumed leadership of the Palestinian group a month earlier, after the assassination of Hamas founder and spiritual leader Sheik Ahmed Yassin. Some in Hamas vow to target Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon. NPR's Julie McCarthy reports.
