text sizeAAA
January 25, 2008

Michele Norris talks with Christopher Edley and Maria Echaveste. Echaveste is a lecturer at the University of California, Berkeley, and Edley is the dean of the law school there. They met while working in the Clinton White House: Echaveste was Bill Clinton's deputy chief of staff, and Edley served in multiple roles, including several dealing with issues of race. Now, they're married but work for political adversaries. Edley is an informal adviser to Sen. Barack Obama, while Echaveste is a senior adviser to Sen. Hillary Clinton.
