Merrill Lynch Ordered to Pay Millions

NPR's Jim Zarroli reports investment firm Merrill Lynch has been ordered to pay more than $2 million to resolve a discrimination suit filed by a female employee. There are approximately 1,000 such suits pending against Wall Street brokerage firms. The Merrill Lynch award in the biggest yet.
