In the Earth Day installment of the Day to Day series My Fellow Americans, we meet John Kamp, a graduate student who has a worm composting bin in his Los Angeles apartment.

Despite fly problems — and the fact that he really isn't making that big of a dent in the garbage — Kamp says he's proud to be environmentally aware.
