Legacy of the U.S. Anti-Apartheid Movement

Through campus demonstrations, corporate boycotts, media and music campaigns, U.S.-based activists helped galvanize global efforts against apartheid. Long-time activists Ron Dellums, former Democratic U.S. congressman from California, and Johnnetta Cole, president of Bennett College in Greensboro, N.C., recall the movement.
