Four Face Anti-Spam Charges

Four people are arrested under a new federal law that prohibits certain kinds of unsolicited e-mail. The Federal Trade Commission says the four are associated with a Michigan-based company called Phoenix Avatar. They're accused of disguising their identities in hundreds of thousands of spam sales pitches for phony weight-loss products. NPR's Larry Abramson reports.
