Double Dipping Spreads Germs

Dipping the same chip into a bowl of dip more than once has always been a questionable practice. Now, a study done at Clemson University shows that double dipping does spread germs.

Paul Dawson, a professor of food microbiology at Clemson, tells Liane Hansen that the idea for the study came from an episode of Seinfeld.
