WTO Ruling Threatens U.S. Cotton Subsidies

In a preliminary ruling this week, the World Trade Organization said the United States must stop subsidizing its 25,000 cotton farmers. If the ruling stands, it could affect farmers worldwide. NPR's Kathy Schalch reports.
