Republican Sen. Lisa Murkowski of Alaska faces conservative opposition in her primary, which comes in August. Unlike Arlen Specter of Pennsylvania, who has been elected four times, Murkowski came to the Senate via appointment — by her father. From member station KTOO in Juneau, Anne Sutton reports.
