NYC Proposes Massive Windmills Offshore for Electricity

NPR's Madeleine Brand talks with Ira Flatow, host of NPR's Talk of the Nation Science Friday, about a plan forwarded by New York City officials to create a "clean" and renewable energy source in the Atlantic Ocean: Windmills, six miles offshore, standing taller than the Statue of Liberty.
