Red Cross Warned U.S. of Iraqi Prisoner Abuse

Officials for the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) say they warned U.S. authorities about the abuse of Iraqi prisoners long before recent allegations surfaced. The ICRC confirmed Friday it had warned the Bush administration about allegations of torture last year -- including guards firing from watchtowers at unarmed prisoners and severe beatings of inmates.
