Michael Eric Dyson Commentary: Civil Rights vs. Labor

Late last month, an affirmative action retreat was organized at Columbia University in New York City by the African American Policy Forum and Leadership Conference. The conference was picketed by students belonging to the Graduate Students Employees Union/UAW. He joins NPR's Tavis Smiley to discuss the tension between the civil rights community and labor.
