U.S. Army Specialist Jeremy Hinzman served in Afghanistan and considers himself a patriot. But when his unit was ordered to Iraq, Hinzman took his family to Canada instead, and filed legal papers to be granted asylum there. He considers the war in Iraq to be unjust. Hinzman talks with NPR's Scott Simon.
