State of Gay Marriages in San Francisco

Gay marriage may be new in Massachusetts, but in San Francisco gay couples have been married for months. Mayor Gavin Newsom authorized the issuance of marriage licenses in February, and the weddings proceeded until the state Supreme Court shut them down a month later, pending an upcoming court challenge. NPR's Richard Gonzales checks in with some of the newlyweds.
