Hugh Masekala's 'Musical Journey'

For more than 40 years, South African Hugh Masekela has been a trumpeter for justice, while creating colorful tunes alongside Louis Armstrong and Miles Davis. His new book The Musical Journey of Hugh Masekela may be his most compelling solo yet. NPR's Tony Cox speaks with Masekela about his love affair with music, his drug addiction and his favorite song.
