Bush Hails U.N. Vote on Iraq

The first day of the G8 Summit, a meeting of the world's leading democracies being held on Sea Island, Ga., was highlighted by a single event — the passing of a new U.N. Iraq resolution. President Bush says the resolution demonstrates international support for the incoming Iraqi government and proves the U.S.-led presence was not just an operation. NPR's Don Gonyea reports.
