Burying the Heart of Louis XVII, the Little King

After Marie Antoinette and Louis XVI were beheaded during the French Revolution, their son Louis XVII was sent to prison. When he died three years later — just 10 years old — the doctor performing the autopsy cut out his heart and saved it. This week the heart was given a grand funeral and buried in his parents' crypt. NPR's Scott Simon hears the bizarre tale from French historian Philippe DeLorme.
