Fighting Ignites Refugee Crisis in Western Sudan

More than a million people have fled fighting between Arab militias and black African villagers in the western Sudan region of Darfur. The United Nations has called for an end to the conflict, which relief workers say has turned the region into one of the world's worst humanitarian crises.
