Compensation for Sept. 11 Families

The Sept. 11 victims compensation fund wrapped up its work at midnight. Close to 5,000 families will share almost $7 billion for deaths and injuries as result of the attacks on Sept. 11, 2001. Kenneth Feinberg, the fund's administrator, had the difficult task of overseeing a fund that decided how much the lives and injuries of different victims were worth. NPR's Robert Smith reports.
