Commentary: Reality TV Pushing Out Writers

It's tough finding work if you are a TV writer in Hollywood. Reality shows are filling up more time on the network schedules — and what dramas there are seem to focus more and more on teenaged characters. So when commentator and TV writer Lori Gottlieb found out that the Writers Guild of America was hosting a panel of teenage girls to talk to writers, she felt like she couldn't miss it.
