Saudi Police Kill Four Tied to Death of U.S. Hostage

Police in Saudi Arabia say four men killed in a gun battle last night were involved in the murder of American Paul Johnson. The Lockheed Martin's captors announced Friday that they had beheaded him, and posted photos on a Web site. Police say the leader of al Qaeda operations in Saudi Arabia is among the dead. An Islamic Web site denies the al Qaeda leader is dead. Hear NPR's Scott Simon and Rasheed Abou-Samh, of Arab News, a Middle East English-language daily.
