In Florida, education officials have been successful in getting more children to participate in the summer food program. During the school year, millions of children nationwide in grades pre-K through 12 eat free or discounted meals through the National School Lunch Program. But statistics show that number drops off dramatically in the summer. Hear NPR's Renee Montagne.
