Low-Carb Diets Trim Krispy Kreme's Profit Line

Since its initial public offering four years ago, business has mostly boomed for Krispy Kreme doughnuts. But last May, blaming the low-carb diet craze, the company reported its first quarterly loss in profits. That has cast a cloud over plans for a downtown development in the company's North Carolina hometown. Larry Schooler of member station WFDD reports.
