Prison officials in Thailand organized a soccer game between inmates and elephants, an effort to distract prisoners from gambling on the European Soccer Championships underway in Portugal. The elephants, driven by riders, were allowed to use their trunks to move the ball. The match ended in a tie: pachyderms 5, inmates 5.
