Lockheed Abandons Plan to Buy Titan Corporation

Aerospace giant Lockheed Martin all but scraps plans to buy Titan Corporation for $1.6 billion. Lockheed says it is unwilling to wait any longer for the outcome of a Justice Department probe into alleged bribery at Titan. The deal's apparent collapse may also reflect bad publicity Titan received after two of its translators were named in connection with abuses at Abu Ghraib. Hear NPR's Laura Sydell.
