L.A. Police Beating Sparks Moderate Reaction

The beating of a suspect by members of the Los Angeles Police Department has provoked a reaction in the city, but not nearly as strong as that prompted by the Rodney King beating in 1991. The LAPD has promised an open, transparent investigation. NPR's Mandalit Del Barco reports.
