John A. Herrmann Jr.
Vice Chairman of Lincoln International
Mr. Herrmann is Vice Chairman of Lincoln International. In this position he plays a leading role in the development of the firm's strategy, manages key relationships, and leads deal teams.
Prior to joining Lincoln International, he served as a Managing Director in the M&A practice at JP Morgan Securities. He brings to Lincoln International the valuable experience of having started and led his own international M&A boutique, the Bridgeford Group, which merged with the Beacon Group in 1997 and then with JP Morgan in 2000. Prior to founding The Bridgeford Group, he spent 30 years at Lehman Brothers where he was a co-founder of and Senior Managing Director in the Merger and Acquisition Department.
Mr. Herrmann holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Harvard University Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Yale College. He is and has been deeply involved in not-for-profit organizations as a board leader. Currently, he is President of the Jewish Board of Family and Children Services, one of the six Public Members of the National Public Radio Board, on the Visiting Committee of the Yale Music School, Chairman of The Steep Rock Association Environmental Trust, and a Board Member of ReServe, which employs retired professionals. He is married, has two grown boys and lives in New York City.
