John Powers
Pop Culture Critic, Fresh Air
John Powers is Fresh Air's pop culture critic/critic-at-large, after serving as film critic for six years. He covered film for Vogue from 1994-2000 and for L.A. Weekly from 1985-94, returning to Vogue on Sept. 1, 2004.
He also writes the "On" column for L.A. Weekly. Powers is the author of Sore Winners (Doubleday, July 2004).
