The Rooster Crow Festival in Rogue River, Calif., has produced two new champion crowers. A white fryer named Trigger beat out reigning champion Stew Me Wright, wowing the judges with a string of 42 cock-a-doodle-dos. Linda Kolano crowed her way to the human championship. Up at the Fair in Salcha, Alaska, Paul Harrell's sublime imitation of a lovesick moose won him the Moose Calling Championship.
