United Airlines loses a bid for a federal loan guarantee. The airline, in the midst of bankruptcy proceedings, had asked the Air Transportation Safety Board for a $1.6 billion federal loan guarantee. The board rejected a previous request last week and says it will not consider any more requests from the airline. NPR's Cheryl Corley reports.
