Sudan's government promises to fight militias that have been raping and murdering thousands of black African villagers in the western Darfur region. But Sen. Sam Brownback (R-KS), who recently returned from Sudan, says evidence strongly suggests the militias have government support, and calls for a greater international presence in the region.
