Saudi Forces Kill Militant Leader

Saudi Arabia says its security forces have killed another top militant in a gun battle in Riyadh. The head of al Qaeda on the Arabian Peninsula — the group that has claimed responsibility for a host of attacks on foreign targets — was gunned down earlier this month. Analysts in the kingdom are assessing the strength of the militant network. NPR's Julie McCarthy reports.
