New Rules Aim to Reduce Surgical Errors

New rules go into effect Thursday designed to reduce errors in surgery. The rules were developed following sensational mistakes -- where patients had the wrong leg amputated and the wrong kidney removed. NPR's Patricia Neighmond reports.
