Kerry Selects Edwards as His Running Mate

Sen. John Kerry chooses North Carolina Sen. John Edwards to be his vice presidential running mate. Though Edwards won only one state during the Democratic primaries, he is an energetic campaigner, popular with voters and a favorite of Democratic Party insiders.
