When Sen. John Kerry's campaign still sought to keep his choice of a running mate secret, mechanic Bryan Smith, a.k.a. "Aerosmith," scooped the news media on Monday night. He posted on a USAviation.com chat room that John Edwards V.P. decals were being put on Kerry's plane in Pittsburgh, after peeking into the plane's hangar Monday at 6 p.m. Hear NPR's Melissa Block and Smith.
