Some pundits say next week's Democratic National Convention could become a delicate balancing act for the Democratic presidential hopeful. The voluminous Sept. 11 Commission report seems to hurl its harshest criticism not at the Bush administration, but at the FBI and CIA. And congressional races in the South add even more heat to already hotly contested races. NPR's Tony Cox discusses these top headlines with Clarence Page, a syndicated Washington columnist for the The Chicago Tribune and freelance journalist Callie Crossley, program manager with the Nieman Foundation for Journalism at Harvard.
