Vietnam Criticized for Human Rights Record

Last week, the U.S. House of Representatives voted to restrict non-humanitarian aid to Vietnam if Hanoi fails to improve its treatment of dissidents and ethnic minorities. The criticism, echoed by the international community, comes amid growing economic and military ties between the United States and Vietnam. Hear NPR's Michael Sullivan.
