On the day he will become his party's official presidential nominee, Sen. John Kerry also faces the task of letting the nation get to know him. NPR's Robert Siegel talks to Washington columnist for The Boston Globe, Thomas Oliphant, who ha s been writing about John Kerry ever since he became a senator. Oliphant is in Boston covering the Democratic Convention.
