French Soldiers Sent to Aid in Sudan Crisis

French soldiers have been deployed to Chad to assist with aid operations and to keep out the militiamen who are killing black Sudanese and driving them from their homes. The troops are part of an effort to stem the humanitarian disaster unfolding in the Darfur region of neighboring Sudan. Hear NPR's Brian Naylor and NPR's Jason Beaubien.
